Pre-K/ Kindergarten

Saturdays, 9:30a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Students in this NEW Saturday morning class will learn phonics, math and writing skills, while exploring fun topics (dinosaurs, sea life, insects, the solar system, sign language) and interacting with the hands-on Montessori materials in our bright, cheerful classroom. Through active learning experiences, students learn phonemic awareness skills, phonetic & sight reading skills, numbers & quantities, addition, graphing, patterns and much more! Group and individual learning experiences allow students to move at their own pace!
($225/12 weeks)
Math Explorers (Pre-K & Kindergarten)
Mondays
2:00 pm-3:00 pm
Using a combination of hands-on materials and exciting computer games, students develop early math skills, including numeration, concepts of size, shape and weight, quantity and more!

Phonics Factory 1 (Pre-K/K)
Mondays & Wednesdays, 1:00-2:00pm
Using the fun and highly interactive Phonics Factory program, students develop strong reading readiness skills. Students learn letter recognition, letter sounds, rhyming & other important phonemic awareness skills. Connections to literature through award-winning children’s literature complete this exciting class!

Read, Write & Math 1 (Grade 1)
Mondays 3:30-4:45 pm
Reinforce reading, spelling & math skills with thematic units that make learning fun. Using hands-on materials, board games, cooperative learning groups & educational software, students learn grade-appropriate reading and spelling patterns, practice beginning writing skills and important math skills/concepts, using hands-on materials. $250/12 weeks
Orton Gillingham Class
Tuesday 4:30-5:30 pm & Thurs-4:30-5:30 pm
Orton Gillingham is a structured, phonetic approach to teaching reading that directly teaches the rules for spelling & reading. Taught by an experienced Wilson Reading System instructor this class is designed for students who are struggling readers. This class is limited to 4 students. $325/12 weeks
(This is a 2-day per week class)
Little Readers Club (ages 3/4)
Tuesdays 2:00-3:00 pm
Using award-winning literature and connected art activities, students experience literature in an active, hands-on format, developing important literacy skills and developing a love of reading! $250/10 weeks
or 2 day option (Tues & Thurs) $325/12 weeks
Computer Kids Club
Tuesdays 1:00-2:00 pm
Reading, Math and Science skills and concepts are introduced using fun, interactive computer games. This class allows students to move at their own pace as they advance through various
skill levels. $250/12 weeks (limited to 4 students)
Read, Write & Math 2 (grades 2/3)
Tuesdays 3:30-4:30 pm (Read /Write)
4:30-5:00 pm (Math Add On)
Using fun, thematic activities, this class builds reading & spelling skills with consonant blends, digraphs & chunks, long & short vowels. Students apply their skills with writing activities, including paragraphs, stories, riddles, poems, and journals. The last half hour focuses on building grade-appropriate math skills through themed activities, board games and other hands-on learning experiences. 12 weeks $250/Read & Write

Math & Motor Skills Club (Pre-K/K)
Wednesdays 2-3 pm
This unique class helps students develop and reinforce both math and fine motor skills. Using hands-on materials, students develop early math skills, including numeration, concepts of size, shapes, measurement, and quantity concepts using activities that build fine motor skills. $250/12 weeks

Phonics Factory 2
(Kindergarten/ 1st grade)

Wednesdays 3:30-4:30
Using the fun and interactive Phonics Factory program, students use their letter sound and phonemic awareness skills to begin building and decoding phonetic words. An infusion of sight words allows students to begin reading various texts, writing phrases & sentences. $250/12 weeks
Read, Write & Math Grade 3
(grades 3/4)

Wednesday 4:00-5:00 pm (Read & Write)
5:00-5:30 pm (Math Add-On)
Using a themed curriculum, students reinforce reading & spelling skills using multi-syllable words, phonetic & structural analysis skills, and increasing sight word vocabulary as well. Students develop writing skills, practicing different types of writing & learning strategies to improve organization and content. Add-on Math: students work on grade level math skills using hands-on materials, board games and other themed activities. 12 weeks- $250/Read & Write

Little Readers/Fine Motor Club
(ages 3/4)

Thursday 1:00-2:00 p.m.
Using award-winning literature, projects & hands-on activities, students develop literacy, pre-reading, phonics and writing! Activities will build hand & finger strength while working on art, tracing, cutting, games and activities to improve skill development. $250/12 weeks
Discovery Kids
Science Explorers (Pre-K)

Thursdays 11:00 a.m.-12 p.m.
Foster a love of learning through experience & discovery with hands activities & highly motivating topics that explores science in a fun way through hands-on experiments, stories, art activities, & games. Topics include kitchen chemistry, insects, & plants. Let students discover the scientist inside! $250/ 12 weeks

This class focuses on advanced decoding skills (word analysis, syllable types, roots/bases, pre/suffixes, context clues) to develop fluency & improve comprehension skills. Add on math to strengthen grade-appropriate math skills including problem solving & math fluency using fun & interactive instruction. 12 weeks
